In observance of Lightning Safety Week, we are proud to donate a full structural lightning protection system to a 501(c)3 nonprofit to raise awareness of the dangers of lightning strikes.
4LP is now accepting applications from qualified 501(c)3 nonprofits in both Louisiana and Texas. The application period is open until August 31, 2020. The donation recipient will be chosen and notified on September 7, 2020. Click here for complete contest rules.
Louisiana and Texas both rank in the top five states for lightning density and experience some of the highest amount of cloud-to-ground lightning strikes in the entire world. When businesses, residential homes, and nonprofits are left unprotected in these areas, they are at increased risk of damage due to lightning.
A single strike can result in sizable damage or even a complete loss due to a structure fire, which could be devastating to an organization.
Chosen Nonprofit Will Receive
Parts & Physical System
The physical system most commonly includes air terminals installed on the building’s roof and a grounding system to help provide a lightning strike a clear path to ground.
Our team of experts will come to your physical location and install the system. The installation can be completed in a single day, in most cases, with no interruption to the organization’s daily operations.
Promotion For Cause
4LP will announce our recipient and use their system installation as an example throughout the year. The recipient will be included in marketing materials, mentioned on our website, and linked on social channels.
Please take a moment to fill out the application form to be considered for our Structural Lightning Protection System donation. Information is used for entry purposes only – 4LP will not keep or sell your info. Click here for complete contest rules.
